AFCEA NOVA Army IT Days 2021

This panel discussion will address:

• The concept of multidomain operations, that of operating in the physical, information, cyber, and electromagnetic spectrum spaces simultaneously, is arguably the most important unifying construct of conflict thus far in the 21st century. Our enemies and near-peer competitors exist and compete across all those environments in part or in whole. In this panel, we gather Service and Joint leaders to discuss how important the electromagnetic spectrum is to unifying all elements this concept.
• Participants will learn perspectives from a number of senior Army Leaders who serve in key roles within the Army’s Cyber Command, Acquisition Commands and OSD, focused on improving warfighter capabilities in the following areas: material solutions, tactical solutions (customer EW and warfighting requirements), Army research efforts (emerging applied science and technology).
• The panel will also discuss Service perspectives of electromagnetic spectrum operations (EMSO) in relation to Multidomain Operations (MDO), a better understanding of how to conduct EMSO in a joint fight; and critical technological and policy challenges to EMSO in MDO.
