This panel discussion will address:
- Problem-solving: What are the areas where you find the most difficulty in delivering technology to the Department? With that said, what’s the first thing you would change if your role was reversed from commercial/industry to government?
- Acquisition: Have current acquisition strategies (e.g., FAR Part 12 v. FAR Part 15) limited or prohibited you from competition when otherwise you have a solution? Where is the Department of the Air Force getting acquisition right?
- Data and AI: How would you characterize your access to AI-ready or training quality data from the Department of the Air Force? How does this compare to your access from other federal or non-federal entities you work with?
- Infrastructure and cloud: What does continuous delivery and integration mean to you when delivering AI internally? How important is the cloud and as-a-service concepts in capabilities like software, platforms, and infrastructure? Where do you feel the Department stands and are there areas you’d like to see greater attention or growth?
- Successes: What are some of your most recent or notable successes that you feel the Department of the Air Force could learn from?
