With over 6,000 individual and corporate members, our chapter boasts the largest membership in the AFCEA International community. Our chapter has the hometown advantage of having the Pentagon in our back yard, the Nation's Capital right next door, and the backbone of the Internet at our center. This means that our monthly luncheons, IT Days, breakfasts and special events connect you with government speakers that provide current policy and future program technology content with relevant business connections to meet your bottom-line goals.

Proceeds from these activities support the AFCEA NOVA chapter and our Education Fund. AFCEA NOVA is actively involved with supporting local middle schools, high schools, and universities, giving out thousands of dollars in scholarships & educational grants annually.

Sponsorships all include invitations (cumulative) to our exclusive Executive Roundtable, an intimate AFCEA NOVA non-attribution forum with DoD leadership.

Executive Roundtable: Recognizing the support of its corporate sponsors, AFCEA NOVA holds an annual Executive Roundtable (ERT). The ERT provides a valuable intimate setting for our corporate sponsors. It is an opportunity for our sponsors to experience high quality networking with other company executives and Government VIPs. High level government speakers are also invited to share their views, in an informal non-attribution setting and talk about the challenges and realities of the DoD budget, and how industry can adapt to this market.

AFCEA NOVA Luncheons provide you an opportunity to increase your visibility, build your business development pipeline, and learn about what priorities and challenges your customer cares about so you can make sure you are aligned with their technology requirements and future procurements. Our Luncheons provide you with the opportunity to network and build relationships and connect directly with key government decision makers. Eight Luncheon programs are planned each program year. Each event attracts nearly 170 attendees.

2020-2021 luncheons run from September 2020 - June 2021. The September, October, and November Luncheons will be virtual with hopes of the remaining 2020-2021 Luncheons (January – June) taking place in-person at the Westin Tyson’s Corner.

AFCEA NOVA IT Days provide the greatest visibility and reach to our sponsors by offering marketing opportunities that capture the attention of potential and existing customers before, during, and after each individual IT Day program. With our virtual format for 2020-2021 IT Days, we are able to off content to an audience of Government and Industry professionals all over the United States. Each of our IT Days is tailored to include senior leaders from the identified communities:

Our WIN program offers an intimate connection with female leadership from across all the public sector.
