With nearly 6,000 individual and corporate members, AFCEA NOVA boasts the largest membership in the AFCEA International community. Proceeds from our events support the AFCEA NOVA chapter and our Education Fund. AFCEA NOVA is actively involved with leadership development and STEM. We have teamed with local middle schools, high schools, and universities, annually awarding thousands of dollars in scholarships and educational grants. 

AFCEA NOVA sponsorship opportunities provide your company with a marketing advantage in reaching the government and industry. Sponsorships all include invitations (cumulative, maximum of 10 guests/company) to our exclusive Executive Roundtable, an intimate AFCEA NOVA non-attribution forum with DoD leadership.

Executive Roundtable: Recognizing the support of its corporate sponsors, AFCEA NOVA holds an annual Executive Roundtable (ERT) in June. The ERT provides a valuable, intimate setting for our corporate sponsors, giving them an opportunity to experience high-quality networking with other company executives, government VIPs, and chapter leaders. High-level government speakers are invited to share their views off-the-record and talk about the challenges and realities of the DoD budget and marketspace.
 

AFCEA NOVA luncheons provide your company an opportunity to increase your visibility, learn about the government procurement opportunities, priorities, and build your business development pipeline. Our luncheons provide the opportunity to network and build relationships, connecting directly with key government decision makers and industry partners. We average nine (9) luncheons a year, and for our upcoming year we will run luncheons from September 2021 through June 2022. Historically, each luncheon has averaged around 170 attendees. We are looking to bring back this attendance with in-person events for the upcoming  chapter year at our new location, the Westin Tyson’s Corner.

AFCEA NOVA IT Days provide the greatest visibility and reach to our sponsors by offering marketing opportunities that capture the attention of potential and existing customers before, during, and after each individual IT Day program. With our hybrid format for 2021-2022 IT Days, we are able to offer content to government and industry professionals with a broader audience outside Northern Virginia. We plan to offer attendees hybrid (in-person & virtual) IT Days for 2021-2022. Each of our IT Days is tailored to include senior leaders from the identified communities:

• U.S. Navy: Naval  - October 7, 2021 (427 virtually in 2020, 470 in-person attendees in 2019)
• U.S. Air Force: Air Force - December 16, 2021 (521 virtually in 2020, 398 in-person attendees in 2019)
• U.S. Army: Army - January 13, 2022 (558 virtually in 2021, 661  in-person attendees in 2020)
• U.S. Space Force NEW for 21/22 : Space Force - February 10, 2022

Our small business program offers an intimate connection with DoD and public sector leadership and maximizes your investment with morning keynote speakers and networking opportunities. The 2021-2022 breakfast program is currently scheduled to be virtual, with hopes of returning to in-person by January 2022. Our WIN program provides opportunities that are focused on female leadership from across the public sector. Sponsoring one of our programs is your opportunity to make an impact and provide a great connection to an audience in support of leadership and achievement in government and military service. WIN 2021-2022 events are scheduled to be in-person starting Fall 2021. All sponsors receive the following benefits for three (3) events (Platinum or Gold) or one (1) event (Silver):

The Micro-Mentoring program is designed to help develop the next generation of government business development and capture professionals. This series focuses on developing short-term mentoring relationships. These mentoring opportunities can develop from a few hours, a few days, or could even help young professionals land their first job in the industry. Sponsors will have the opportunity to mentor and engage with what could develop into their future workforce. There will be both in-person and virtual components to this year’s program.

AFCEA NOVA is proud to offer Continuing Education Units (CEU) during quarterly professional development webinars. Past webinars include CEUs for the following certifications: CompTIA: A+, Network+, Security+, Linux+, and Cloud+, CertNexus - CyberSec First Responder, and GIAC. By sponsoring professional development events, attendees will be able to register for the events complimentary. TERMS & CONDITIONS

Benefits Fulfillment: Sponsor benefits will begin upon receipt of a signed commitment form and/or payment of the sponsorship in full.

Payment Terms: Sponsorship payment will be due net 30 days from the date of invoice or 7 days prior to the event, whichever is earlier.
Failure to remit payment on this schedule may result in loss of onsite event benefits (e.g., attendance, signage, other recognition).
