Staying Ahead – Key Technology Priorities, Challenges, and Goals of the U.S. Space Force

Established December 20th, 2019, the United States Space Force is the newest branch of the Armed Forces. Their mission includes organizing, training, and equipping space forces in order to protect U.S. and allied interests in space, and to provide space capabilities to the joint force. USSF responsibilities include developing military space professionals, acquiring military space systems, maturing the military doctrine for space power, and organizing space forces to present to our Combatant Commands. During this discussion, Lt. Gen. David D. Thompson will provide unique insight into key priorities, challenges, and overarching technology goals of USSF, and how Industry can assist in these efforts.
