AFCEA NOVA Emerging Leaders
Professional Development Networking Event

AFCEA’s Northern Virginia (NOVA) Emerging Leaders (EL) Committee is hosting their next Professional Development event. This quarter’s focus is on using LinkedIn to maximize attendees’ skills and use of the platform to propel them further in their current and future roles. This event is open to all ages and career levels, and we encourage attendees to bring their own laptops for this workshop.

 
We will have marketing SME, Matt Klein, and Business Development Professional, Trey Brisley, leading this workshop. They will guide attendees on how to maximize their profiles, create content, strategize sharing, gain customer engagement, and understand the LinkedIn algorithm. Whether your goal is to land a new job, grow your online network, or gain customer attention, this event will cover a myriad of strategies to help you grow your career.

5:30 - 6:00 PM: Networking & Catering (food and drinks provided)

6:00 - 7:00 PM: LinkedIn Workshop led by Matt Klein and Trey Brisley

7:00 - 7:30 PM: Networking

The Emerging Leaders (40 and under) group consists of both government and industry AFCEA members.

Our purpose is to:
Promote synergy among the younger Chapter members
Foster networking and alliances
Offer opportunities for mentorship and professional growth
Support the Northern Virginia (NOVA) AFCEA Chapter

Who should attend?
The goal of the Emerging Leaders is to facilitate a community of young professionals in both industry and government who can develop their careers together.
