Mr. Sullivan is the Chief of Space Acquisition Policy, Strategy, and
Processes Division in the Integration Directorate of the Office of the
Assistant Secretary of the Air Force (Space Acquisition and Integration)
where he leads a team supporting the Space Service Acquisition
Executive on policies, strategy, and processes to integrate efforts across
the space program portfolio.
Mr. Sullivan has held numerous support and leadership positions
including Project Manager, Contracting Officer Representative, Deputy
Program Manager, and Materiel Leader for advanced missile warning
capabilities, protected tactical satellite communications, and satellite
operations for space defense. In addition to acquisition experience, Mr.
Sullivan has served multiple Program Executive Officers in the Planning,
Programming, Budgeting, and Execution aspects of portfolio
management. Mr. Sullivan is a veteran Army communications officer.
During Operation Iraqi Freedom, Mr. Sullivan led several terrestrial
communication projects across Iraq to support Multi-National Forces –
Iraq (MNF-I) objectives. He joined the civilian acquisition workforce as a Presidential Management Fellow in
2011.
