Colonel Aaron Gibson is the Director, Cyber Operations, at Headquarters Space Training and Readiness Command, United States Space Force (USSF). Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) is the USSF Field Command responsible for test, training, doctrine, and education. STARCOM prepares the USSF and its Guardians to prevail in competition and conflict.

Colonel Gibson received his commission from the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Upon graduation, he attended Basic Communications Officer School at Keesler AFB, MS. He has served in numerous base, operations, and staff positions. Col Gibson commanded the 22d Space Operations Squadron at Schriever AFB, CO, overseeing the Air Force Satellite Control Network and he also commanded the 609th Expeditionary Air Communications Squadron at Al Udeid AB, Qatar, where he was responsible for providing C4 support to the United States Central Command Combined Forces Air Component Commander and the Combined Air Operations Center. Prior to his current role, he served as the Division Chief, C4 Cyber Operations, Headquarters Space Operations Command.
