Mary Davie currently serves as the Deputy Associate Administrator for the Mission Support Directorate at NASA where, in partnership with the Associate Administrator, she develops strategy and facilitates delivery of NASA’s institutional support functions (CXOs), encompassing an annual budget of over $3B and a workforce of over 7,000 people. Mary serves as the agency focal point for Centers and other offices on matters relating to mission support requirements, including balancing Mission Directorate and Center priorities. Mary previously led the Mission Support Transformation office focused on improving mission support processes, increasing efficiencies, and providing consistency and uniformity across institution capabilities and services.

Prior to joining NASA in 2020, Mary served in multiple leadership roles with the General Services Administration including Acting Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service, Deputy Commissioner of the Federal Acquisition Service, Assistant Commissioner for the IT Category, Assisted Acquisition Services, and CRM and Sales.

During her 30+ year career, Mary has held numerous leadership positions in the federal community helping to create and implement programs such as Open Government, Category Management, Strategic Sourcing, Quality Service Management Offices, and Cyber and Secure Supply Chain.

A major contributor and supporter of the American Council for Technology, she served as its president from June 2011 to May 2012 and currently participates as a member of the Executive Collaboration Forum.
Mary is a NAPA fellow and also serves on the Management Dept’s Advisory Board for the College of Business at Virginia Tech.
