Ms. Elizabeth A. Mudd was appointed as Associate Director, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in July 2020.
In this role, Ms. Mudd provides leadership for the USACE Small Business Program including advocacy and outreach for small business programs, establishment of small business policy and procedures and oversight of approximately $8B in small business spend annually. Ms. Mudd leads a nationwide team of small business specialists that incorporate small business solutions in support of the USACE mission of delivering vital public and military engineering services; partnering in peace and war to strengthen our nation’s security, energize the economy and reduce risks from disasters.
Ms. Mudd has served in various positions within the DoD to include Team Lead Contracting Officer, Supervisory Contracting Officer, Small Business Program Manager and Director.
