Jennifer Ellison brings more than 20 years of aviation and aerospace experience to her work — starting as an Air Traffic Controller in the United States Air Force and building from there into a career that spans systems engineering, technical advisory roles, and federal program management.
She joined the FAA in 2018 and has held progressively senior roles across air traffic safety oversight, safety engineering, and program acquisition before stepping into her current position as Program Manager for the FAA Contract Tower Program. Prior to the FAA, she supported the Flight Service Program at Leidos (formerly Lockheed Martin) with a focus on process improvement and operations.
Jennifer holds a B.S. in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an M.S. in Systems Engineering from George Washington University.
Beyond her program management work, Jennifer is a mentor in the FAA's National Mentor Program and an active member of Professional Women Controllers (PWC) — reflecting a genuine commitment to developing the next generation of aviation and federal professionals.
