Matt Altomare is the Acting Chief of Operations for the Threat Hunting at the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where he oversees and enables the successful execution of cyber defense operations. Before CISA, Mr. Altomare served as a Deputy Director of Cyber Plans and Operations at the Pentagon. He previously worked for several years in the Intelligence Community and as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Air Force, focused on special operations and counterterrorism. Mr. Altomare has graduate degrees from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and American Military University. He is an avid scuba diver from Arlington, Virginia.
