Bonnie Evangelista is a seasoned acquisition leader with 18 years of experience streamlining and modernizing federal procurement and accelerating the delivery of innovative capabilities to the warfighter. She currently serves as a Senior Advisor Acquisition Policy within the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Industrial Base Policy, where she focuses on reducing regulatory friction, removing barriers to entry for non-traditional vendors, and enabling faster access to industrial base capabilities.

Previously, Evangelista was one of the leaders in the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) campaign to rewrite federal acquisition regulations and transform federal procurement. She also co-founded the Tradewinds initiative, pioneering a streamlined acquisition model for emerging technologies through the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace and led the implementation of automated DevSecOps approaches to rapidly deploy capabilities for the Army’s Defensive Cyber Program. Evangelista is widely recognized for her expertise in rapid and creative acquisition pathways and her leadership in shaping forward-leaning procurement policy and practice. She is also a DAU TEDx speaker and serves on the Board of Advisors for the National Contract Management Association (NCMA).
