Ms. Erica Thomas has is the Director for Digital Transformation, within the Office of the Secretary of War (Comptroller), Office of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, Financial Systems Modernization & Innovation (FSMI). Her responsibilities include driving change and innovation to improve, standardize, and simplify the FM business system environment through adoption and expansion of common enterprise systems, data, analytics, intelligent automation, performance management, business process improvement, and risk management. This includes being the Program Manager for OUSW(C)’s Intelligent Automation Center of Excellence, which offers a shared service platform to help promulgate Automation within the DoW. She also co-leads the DoW’s RPA Consortium and outside of DoD, she is an active champion for the Federal RPA Community of Practice.
