Bonnie Evangelista is the Acting Deputy Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer for the Acquisition & Assurance Directorate and one of the founders of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office’s (CDAO) Tradewinds initiative, leading efforts to accelerate the acquisition of digital, analytics, and artificial intelligence delivery to the Department of Defense. In her previous role, she served as the Deputy Product Lead for Applied Cyber Technologies within Army Program Manager Defensive Cyber Operations (PM DCO), leading efforts to provide the infrastructure and environments necessary for defensive cyber innovation and integration in the Army.
Bonnie is an experienced acquisition professional with expertise gained while supporting Federal Civilian and Department of Defense agencies for 16 years. She is fluent in Federal Government program management, acquisition life cycle, and cradle to grave contracting but is best known for her strategic leadership in rapid acquisition, leveraging non-traditional procurement methods that streamline and accelerate the pace of acquisition while addressing evolving mission needs. Throughout her career, Bonnie has focused on simplifying complex acquisition processes and transforming conventional acquisition models and mindsets.
