Colonel Joseph J. Wingo is the Director of Cyber & Spectrum Operations Integration at HQ US Space Force. In this capacity he is responsible for the Service Staff support of Defensive Cyber Operations, Cybersecurity, Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations, and SATCOM management for the Space Force.
Colonel Wingo was commissioned through the Officer Training School in January 1999. Prior to this assignment, he commanded the 39th Information Operations Squadron, the 628th Communications Squadron, and the 690th Network Support Squadron Det 2. Additionally, he has served in a broad variety of assignments to include the Career Field Functional Manager for the Cyberspace Operations Officer career field, Deputy Command, AFIT Instructor, Officer Training School Instructor and an Inspector for the Air Force Inspector General's Office.
