In 2020 Valerie B. Oliver joined US Army Corp of Engineers Office of Small Business Programs as the Deputy Director, prior to she was a Small Business Professional for the Aberdeen Proving Ground, supporting Divisions D and Belvoir Division, where she resided. Valerie has a long and committed career as a Small Business Professional with over 33 years of experience working in the Federal Government having served in various capacities in contracting, small business, manpower, IG, program management and logistics, her most notable contribution to date was establishing the Cecom Office of Small Business Programs at Aberdeen Proving Ground during its Base realignment in 2009. She holds a Business Administration, concentration in Management and a Masters in Public Administration. Valerie and her husband Jonathan reside in Virginia and are the proud parents of three wonderful adult children, Jonathan Jr, Janaye, and Jordan.
