Nicholas Faillace is the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Contracting Services Office (CSO) Division Chief for J6 IT Services. As head of the DCSO J6 IT Services Division, he oversees J6 IT Service task order competition. In 2009, Nicholas began his career in the Construction and Equipment (C&E) Directorate of DLA Troop Support. He served as a Contract Specialist under the Special Operation Equipment (SOE) Tailored Logistics Support (TLS) Program. Nicholas moved to DCSO in July of 2014, and served as a Contract Specialist for the DLA JETS acquisition, as well as Contracting Officer for hardware, software and IT requirements. In August of 2016, Nicholas moved back to DLA Troop Support and served as Contracting Officer as part of the Strategic Material Sourcing Group (SMSG) within the Subsistence Directorate. Nicholas and his team received the DLA Troop Support Innovation Award for outstanding accomplishment in examining the use of Unmanned Aerial Systems (Drones) in support of Contingency Operations and Natural Disaster Relief efforts. During his tenure in the Subsistence Directorate of DLA Troop Support, Nicholas held two additional positions as the CONUS Northwest and Southwest Produce and Market Fresh Division Branch Chief, as well as the CONUS Prime Vendor East Region Branch Chief. Nicholas also served as an Expeditionary Contracting Officer as part of the Joint Contingency Acquisition Support Office (JCASO) from 2015 to 2018. In September of 2022, Nicholas returned to DCSO.

Prior to his time with DLA, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Food Marketing, from St. Joseph’s University. Nicholas also received a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Holy Family University in 2015.
