Sean Murphy is a Small Business Technical Advisor with the General Services Administration Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization in the Central Office covering Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. He supports the small business community by conducting outreach, providing training, one-on-one counseling, and helping them understand how to navigate federal opportunities and procurements within GSA.

Prior to working in the Office of Small & Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), Sean served 10 years as a Contract Specialist for the Transportation Security Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Secret Service.

Sean is a graduate of the Homeland Security Acquisition Professional Career Program. He has a B.A. in Marketing from Old Dominion University and a graduate certificate in Federal Government Contracting from Villanova University.
