Brandon Karpf is the VP, General Manager, and Executive Editor of N2K CyberWire. He began his career as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer in the US Navy, holding leadership roles at the National Security Agency, US Cyber Command, and aboard the USS Boxer.
In the technology sector, Brandon has served as a Research Engineer at MIT’s Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory and as a Data Systems Engineer at the National Reconnaissance Office. Following his military service, he worked as a cybersecurity consultant before joining N2K CyberWire. He also holds adjunct faculty status at the US Naval Academy, teaching cybersecurity engineering, and serves as an Operating Partner at Fulcrum Venture Group.
Brandon holds a Master of Science from MIT, an Executive MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, and a Bachelor of Science in Robotics and Controls Engineering from the US Naval Academy.
