Ms. Christine Rodriguez is the Program Executive Officer for Manpower, Logistics and Business Solutions (PEO MLB), where she oversees an enterprise information technology (IT) portfolio providing solutions in support of Naval manpower, logistics and business capability needs. The PEO MLB mission provides acquisition oversight and management for a portfolio of programs chartered to provide systems and services which enable the Navy to accomplish day-to-day business functions and operations. These systems and services provide human resources, financial, and other business management solutions.
Previously, Ms. Rodriguez served as the Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Financial Systems from July 2021 to March 2022 and the Deputy Director, Financial Systems, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Navy (Financial Management and Comptroller) from February 2020 to March 2022. Ms. Rodriguez was responsible for integrating resources and developing strategy to enable the transformation and portfolio management of financial management systems for the Department of the Navy (DON).
Prior to joining the DON, Ms. Rodriguez was Director, Financial Systems for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), where she led the Financial Systems Modernization (FSM) program within the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO) and managed an annual budget of $116M and led a team of federal and associated contract support teams in the management and execution of seven major IT programs.
Ms. Rodriguez has more than 26 years of experience in acquiring, designing, implementing, and operating financial management and cutting-edge business intelligence solutions. As a result of her success she has received three awards from DHS for her efforts including the DHS Secretary’s Award for Excellence.
