Jason Preisser is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience in Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) acquisition, program management, and innovation. As the Senior Vice President of Federal Programs at ARI, he drives national initiatives that support federal agencies, providing strategic leadership, compliance oversight, and marketplace growth. Jason is a recognized acquisition expert, leveraging his deep expertise to expand customer engagement, shape ARI’s offerings, and accelerate mission-driven solutions across the government sector.

Prior to ARI, Jason played a pivotal role at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), serving as the Director of the Mission Services Office (MSO). In this capacity, he led all agency operations and services, overseeing research program management, information technology, security, facilities, and business process innovation. He also directed DARPA’s $1 billion support services contracts and spearheaded small business engagement efforts to drive game-changing technology development.

Jason’s career began in the U.S. Air Force, where he specialized in federal acquisition, procurement, and space systems operations. He held leadership roles at the Pentagon, Air Force Space & Missile Systems Center, and the National Reconnaissance Office, managing multi-billion-dollar defense programs. His expertise spans the full system lifecycle, from concept to deployment, and includes two overseas tours supporting contingency contracting and host nation advisory missions.
