Jared Reece is Chief, Commercial Satellite Communications (COMSATCOM) Solutions Program Office, assigned to the Space Systems Command, United States Space Force, Washington, D.C. He is responsible for delivering COMSATCOM capabilities to support the joint warfighter, federal agencies, and international partners.

The COMSATCOM Solutions Program Office acquires COMSATCOM capability for any customer, anywhere in the world, and includes the Proliferated Low Earth Orbit (PLEO) Indefinity Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract awarded in 2023 with a current ceiling of $13B.

Mr. Reece started his career supporting the COMSATCOM Solutions Office in 2015, specializing in cybersecurity, overseeing the transition from DIACAP to RMF, and supported the cybersecurity assessments transition from DISA to USSF, and has been overseeing the development of the IA-PRE cybersecurity program. He served as a program analyst within the program office, managing a variety of contracts from managed services to complex COMASTCOM solutions for the joint warfighter, and federal agencies. He took over as the COMSATCOM Solutions Program Office Branch Chief in 2022 and continues to support the COMSATCOM mission across the US DoD.

Mr. Reece received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Homeland Security, which focuses on emerging technologies, cyber threats, infrastructure protection, and private-sector partnerships.
