Peter Gabriel is a recognized industry leader renowned for his expertise in digital modernization, IT strategy, enterprise cloud technologies, and scaled business agility. His rapid rise to senior leadership at the age of 33 underscores his significant contributions to Govtech and STEM sectors, where he has been a driving force for innovation and thought leadership, disrupting industries. Mr. Gabriel is an active member of AFCEA Emerging Leaders and is currently serving as the Technical Director at CACI’s Intel Application Solutions Division and as the right hand to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), Mr. Gabriel plays a pivotal role in supporting the Intelligence Community.
With a focus on large-scale enterprise implementations and leveraging enterprise service tools, Mr. Gabriel spearheads initiatives in DevSecOps, Lean Product Management, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML), and the advancement of emerging technologies for the Intelligence Community (IC). Leading a staff of 300+ and managing close to a billion-dollar P&L, he is deeply involved in strategy, growth, and Solutions Architecture initiatives at CACI Corporate, leveraging his extensive network with AFCEA NOVA, Emerging Leaders, and various DMV Chapters.
Prior to joining CACI, Mr. Gabriel held principal consultant roles across multiple sectors, including Private, Department of Defense (DOD), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Federal civilian programs. He led large-scale, multi-billion-dollar programs focused on Digital Transformation and User-Centric design, successfully transforming legacy monolithic organizations into cohesive and high-performing units. Recognized as an industry disruptor, Mr. Gabriel is dedicated to driving innovative solutions and addressing the Government's most complex challenges.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Mr. Gabriel actively participates in prominent trade shows and conferences, such as Cyber Security Federal Forums, ServiceNow Federal Forums, and Public Sector Cloud Computing events. He is deeply involved in AFCEA NOVA and AFCEA Emerging Leaders, volunteering for events and conferences related to the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Intelligence Community (IC). Additionally, he devotes his time to mentoring rising high school and university students, facilitating cybersecurity hackathons, and providing coaching and guidance on resume writing and interview skills. He is heavily involved in CACI corporate intern programs, traveling to recruit and mentor high-caliber STEM candidates at top universities for internship opportunities. Through his contributions to young STEM professionals and his professional endeavors in National Security, Mr. Gabriel greatly enhances AFCEA's mission of fostering collaboration and addressing STEM-related issues within the Federal Government Technology space.
