LTC Andy Ziskin commissioned in 2006 in the Military Intelligence Corps and graduated from Roger Williams University with a bachelor’s degree in political Science. In 2020 he graduated from New Mexico State University with a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering.
LTC Ziskin served on a Military Transition Team (MTT) in Iraq in 2007 and a Security Force Assistance Team (SFAT) in Afghanistan in 2012. He trained and advised his counterparts to develop their intelligence networks at Battalion and Corps levels respectively. In 2013 LTC Ziskin took command of Alpha company (MI) 2-3 BSTB, Fort Stewart GA where he supported 2nd Brigade 3 ID’s deactivation. In 2015, while assigned to USFK, he served in the CJ3 Combined Joint Fires Element (CJFE) as a theater targeting officer where he led the effort to re-write the combined joint theater targeting process in coordination with U.S. Air Force and Korean Army. LTC Ziskin transitioned to ORSA branch in 2016.
In 2017, LTC Ziskin was assigned to The Research and Analysis Center (TRAC). During his time at TRAC, he supported scenario development and executed strategic war games in support of the Indo-Pacific Theater. He supported the Army Futures Command (AFC) Commanding General by leading the development of an Army future initiative prioritization tool and was a member of the Army Modernization Analysis (AMA) study team to support future Army modernization decisions. In 2020 he served at the 101st Division ORSA for three years and supported operational data collection and automated reporting, and developed a methodology for operational level wargaming while in Romania. He currently serves at the artificial intelligence integration center (AI2C) within Army Futures Command in Pittsburgh PA as the portfolio lead supporting projects such as Griffin Predictive aviation maintenance, VIRTUS training management and assessment application and the Recruiting application in support of USAREC to increase the quantity and quality of army recruits.
LTC Ziskin’s military education includes the MI Officer Basic and Captain’s Career Course, the Theater Nuclear Operations Course, Joint Collateral Damage Estimation Course, Joint Targeting Course and the Joint Firepower Course (5U). He attended resident CGSC in 2016 and obtained a strategist additional skill identifier (6Z) the Air Assault school (2B) and completed the ORSA Military Applications Course (ORSA-MAC) in 2017.
LTC Ziskin is unmarried with no children. His hobbies and interests include history, economics and poker, which he has a notable winning record if googled.
