Mr. Matt Gohil serves as the Chief Information Officer, Program Executive Office Soldier. As the Chief Information Officer he manages four teams comprised of the Cloud, Data Visualization, NETOPS, and Cyber Security. Lead all efforts executing the Command's Data Framework and Architecture vision, Cloud Architecture Strategy, Network Operations and MS 365 adoption and Cyber Security work streams for all 22 systems and 285 products. Serves as the PEO Soldier's Command Chief Information Officer in leadership forums while implementing elements of the Army Digital Transformation Strategy, Army Cloud Strategy, and Army Data Plan in furthering PEO Soldier’s mission.

In 2018 served as the Charter Product Lead (PL) for the Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program Hub (AESIP Hub), Program Execution Office Enterprise Information Systems He is responsible for the life-cycle management of cost, schedule, and performance of Master Data Management (MDM), Enterprise Hub Services, Business Intelligence/Business Warehouse (BI/BW), and other operational projects to increase efficiencies for the Army G-4. In addition was the second largest Army enterprise program to move into the AWS cloud while achieving audit security excellence. In addition, implemented the first COTS Identity Management solution in the cloud allowing 110K users access to applications, reports and data.

He entered civilian government service in August 2010 as a Project Management Analyst for Program Executive Office Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) where he led 38 Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects that generated and documented over $345M in cost savings/avoidance as recorded within the Army authoritative database. In addition, he led three PEO-enterprise sponsored process improvement projects mandated by the Army Acquisition Executive, as well as various other transformation initiatives across the enterprise. In March 2015, he was promoted to PEO EIS Projects Management Division (PMD) Program Evaluation & Reporting Division Chief, where he provided analysis and strategic leadership to resolve complex mission critical problems for the PEO. In October 2016, his areas of responsibilities expanded to include Independent Verification & Validation, Audit Readiness, Business Process Reengineering, Economic Analysis, and the Managers Internal Control Program. In November 2018, Mr. Gohil expanded his responsibilities to include PEO EIS policy management, task management, and security management.

Mr. Gohil brings a wide array of industry experience serving as a Senior Management Consultant and Information Technology (IT) Lifecycle Management Advisor to PEO EIS. He also served as a Senior Compliance Officer and Business Development executive for numerous financial institutions to generate financial products and services while improving customer experiences. He was the Principal Partner of several firms that developed and deployed software solutions that increased productivity and generated Returns on Investment (ROIs) impacting corporate performance, while modernizing operations and driving value to customers.

Mr. Gohil has a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland. He also earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the Army Acquisition Corps and is a graduate of the Defense Acquisition University where he attained Level III certification in Program Management. He is also Army Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Master Black Belt (#103) and Harvard Senior Fellowship Certificate Program graduate.
