Joseph Staier is currently the Chief Engineer for the Enterprise IT and Cyber Infrastructure division, which supports the computer, tablets, phones, the networks and the cloud needs for over 750,000 users in the Air Force and Space Force.
Mr. Staier was hired on at Hanscom Air Force Base as a Lead Engineer in the Air Force’s Cyber Security and Control Systems Weapons System. In 2018 he moved up and added the Base Information Transport Infrastructure program. From 2019-2022, he worked full time on the Air Force’s Enterprise IT as a Service (EITaaS) program.
Mr. Staier comes from a long line of military service to his country. His grandfather was in the Navy, his father served in both the Air Force and Coast Guard, his brother in the Coast Guard, and his sister in the Army. He currently lives outside Boston with his wife Katie as empty nesters with two adult children.
Mr. Staier graduated the Coast Guard Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and retired From the Coast Guard in 2014.
