Ms. Holly S. Joers serves as the interim deputy director for the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) program office. In this role, Ms. Joers helps lead FEHRM activities, including efforts to establish an organizational structure, staffing and priorities to ensure FEHRM responsibilities, mandated by the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2020 and the FEHRM Charter, are carried out effectively.

Ms. Joers previously served as the deputy program executive officer for the Program Executive Office, Defense Healthcare Management Systems (PEO DHMS). The mission of PEO DHMS is to transform the delivery of health care and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for Service members, Veterans and their families. She provided oversight for PEO functions such as the acquisition lifecycle management framework, program management, requirements tracking, personnel and resource management, metrics and contract management.
